•   From Tubular, you can control pause, play, and stop but cannot select next or previous track.*
•   From your iPhone and iPod Touch, you can control all: pause, play, stop, next, and previous.
  * iPhone and iPod Touch do not fully support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile). For more details, please refer to Apple's support site.

2.
How do I know that my Bluetooth device is compatible with Tubular?
You can listen to music on Tubular with any Bluetooth-empowered computer or mobile device that supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). *

In addition, if your device supports AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), you can control playback from Tubular, such as play/pause and previous/next track. For more details about your device's Bluetooth compatibility, please refer to its user manual.

  * Some mobile devices are partially compatible with A2DP or AVRCP. In those cases, you might not be able to use all playback controls or even pair with Tubular.

3.
How long does it take to charge Tubular?
Tubular needs approximately 2 hours to be fully charged. We recommend that you do not insert a USB hub between your computer and Tubular when charging the battery.

4.
How long can I listen to music on Tubular?
You can enjoy up to 8 hours of playback time and up to 100 hours of standby time with a fully-charged Tubular.

5.
Do I always need to connect the right and left speaker?
When they are connected you can enjoy listening to stereo sound. You may also use only the main speaker (left channel monaural sound).

6.
Can I use the USB connector to sync Tubular with my computer?
The USB connector is only for charging. It cannot communicate with your computer, including syncing.

7.
What is the transmission range?
Tubular can transmit Bluetooth signal up to 32' (10m).

8.
Is Tubular water- or dust-proof?
Although Tubular works great outdoors, it is not designed as water-proof. Please do not use Tubular in humid environment.

9.
I am pressing the Volume key during playback but cannot choose previous / next track.
To fully control playback from Tubular, your Bluetooth device must be compatible with AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile). Some Bluetooth devices, for example iPhone and iPod Touch, are only partially compatible with AVRCP; they can pair with Tubular but not necessary accept all commands. However, even in those cases you can still control playback from your Bluetooth device.

For more details on Apple products' compatiblity with Bluetooth profiles, please refer to Apple's support site.

10.
I reconnected the left and right speakers after disconnecting them for a while, but Tubular still generates monaural sound.
Once you disconnect the speakers, Tubular switches the speaker output from stereo to monaural. To listen to stereo sound again, you need to restart Tubular:
1. Turn Tubular off (press the Multi-purpose key until you hear four tones with descending pitches).
2. Connect the speakers together.
3. Turn Tubular on again (press the Multi-purpose key until you hear four tones with ascending pitches).

11.
I cannot hear stereo sound even though the music is in stereo.
To stream stereo sound to Tubular, your Bluetooth device needs to support A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile).

If you are using only the main (left) speaker, you need to connect the right speaker and then restart Tubular.

12.
I cannot control playback on Tubular from my Bluetooth device.
To control Tubular, your Bluetooth device needs to support AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile).

13.
How can I reconnect my Bluetooth device with Tubular?
If Tubular and your Bluetooth device have already been paired, press the Multi-function key to reconnect them.

Note that some Bluetooth devices are not compatible with this feature. In that case, you need to pair your device with Tubular again. Follow the pairing instructions in the Quick Start Guide (downloadable from here).

14.
Rewinding the cable is not easy.
We recommend not to start rewinding right away. Follow these steps:
1. Make sure that you insert the USB port or speaker plug to the pocket first.
2. Start rewinding the cable around the rubber edge.
3. Rotate the rubber plate to complete rewinding the cable.

15.
Tubular automatically turns off after some time.
To save battery life, Tubular automatically turns off after it has been inactive for 30 minutes. To turn it on again, press and hold the Multi-function key.

16.
The LED indicator is blinking in red. What is going on?
That means the battery is running low. Please recharge your Tubular.

17.
17. I forgot the passcode.
It is 0000, four zeros. You might not need to enter the passcode at all—many Bluetooth devices automatically enter standard passcodes including 0000.
