| t3ch Review - IPEVO WiFi Phone for Skype |
What make this phone so special? How about the fact that there’s no need to connect to a PC of any kind for it work. So as long as you have access to a WiFi access point and a Skype account, you’re ready to make some calls. Within about 5 minutes I was ready to make calls.

There are hundreds – if not thousands – of services that allow you to chat in real time. The one that tends to rule the roost is Skype. You know you may need to contact people on your Skype list while you’re traveling or away from your computer. Don’t use your cell and rack up a huge bill. Just use the Skype Phone. Make your life a little easier.

| Gadling gear review - IPEVO S0-20 WiFi Skype phone |
The S0-20 connects to Skype over WiFi, and allows you to make and receive calls, manage your Skype contacts, view call history, listen to voicemail and even search for Skype users. The entire user interface looks and feels just like Skype on your desktop, so operating the phone couldn't be easier.

| IPEVO S0-20 WiFi Phone for Skype |
The PC is both a strength and a weakness in Skype's incredibly popular Web-based VoIP service. Strength in that it gave Skype's creators the technical tools that allowed them to build a high-quality voice transport service that fundamentally altered the telephony landscape.

We first saw Ipevo’s Wi-Fi phone for Skype back in October and today they’ve announced its availability. It has a backlit keyboard and a 1.8-inch LCD. When you’re done Skypeing away just drop it back into the cradle to recharge.

If you're in the mood for some VOIP, IPEVO's newest is definitely worth a second look -- all in a package that would look at home next to a ten year old pre-pay cell phone.
