Maintenance Information & Things to Note

If this product breaks down during normal use, "Version 2 Singapore Pte Limited", as I-O Data’s Exclusive Distributor, will repair or replace this product free of charge at its discretion within the designated maintenance period. Version 2 will provide limited maintenance for this product for a period of 3 Years from the date of purchase.

1st Year: Entitled to 1-to-1 product exchange.
2nd & 3rd Year: Covers only labor costs. Replacement parts costs will be bearable by customer.

When requesting refund or repair for the product, the customer must at the same time present the following:

1. Original Invoice at time of purchase &
  2. Green Warranty Seal (affixed on product box and to present together with full package including box) of Version 2 Singapore Pte Limited.

If the proof of purchase cannot be provided, the customer may pay SGD$30 as inspection and maintenance fees. An additional 12 months of maintenance period will be provided.
 

Point to Note about Warranty: The customer shall not make unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly of the product device body. If it is discovered that unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly has been done to the product device body, the related maintenance shall be deemed null and void. The related maintenance does not include damages caused by misuse, negligence, and accidental or malicious damaging.

Important Information from I-O Data Manufacturer

1. For the time being, I-O Data is only providing maintenance service for the regions where the product is sold. Thank you for your understanding.
2. The product maintenance scope extends only to the "hardware" body itself. The "software" and other consumables that come with the product are not included in the maintenance scope.
3. Under no circumstances would I-O Data be responsible for any data losses or business losses of the consumer caused by either the product or its accompanied "software".
4. Pertaining to factors of natural disasters such as fires, floods and extreme temperatures, human factors of carelessness such as dropping from a height, impacts, pressure, fire burning and water immersion, factors of inappropriate voltages applied and misuse contrary to guidelines in the manual, factor of anti-seal tampering damages, and factors of product dismantling or other malicious damaging, the product will be given neither maintenance nor compensation.

* We seek your understanding that the Exclusive Distributor, "Version 2 Singapore Pte Limited", will not provide any technical support or compensation for issues such as customers losing their data.
